Woman’s body found in Milledgeville

On Wednesday evening, a female body was found in the woods near the 300 block of Doles Blvd. in Milledgeville, and one man is in custody.

A statement from MPD said the cause of death remains under investigation but is being treated as a homicide.

Police believe the body to be that of 33-year-old Latorra Michelle Tillman, a local woman who was reported missing September 9th and was last seen in the area of Doles Blvd.

The GBI Crime Lab is working to confirm the identity.

Police arrested 26-year-old Milledgeville resident Clemmon Jamar Hunt in connection with the death of Ms. Tillman, he is being charged with Felony Murder.
